About Dickson FFA

Moving on up

The Dickson FFA chapter was growing by leaps and bounds so a new facility was needed. The roots of the current program were built on the northwest end of campus near the original football field house. This facility consisted of a welding shop, livestock preparation area, 2 storerooms, a classroom, an office and restrooms. We had hit the jackpot and were headed for the penthouse!

Getting Started

The Dickson FFA program was established in 1982. Classes took place in a modest garage/shop area located on the far east side of campus and was under the advisement of Glenn Mann.

Most of the preparation for any event was outside in the elements.

Change is gonna come

Glenn Mann was the Dickson FFA advisor from 1982-1996. In 1996, he took a position in Sulphur and the Dickson Chapter was about to see a new face in the driver's seat.

Robbie Sanders took the reigns of the program.
